About Pixel

Hi! My name is Pixel Gilmour. I have done a lot of exciting things in my life, like feeding a baby lamb, having a crazy King Parrot land on my head, and climbing thirty meters up a giant tree fort in the middle of the jungle, but nothing as exciting as moving to Australia for a year with my parents and my two younger brothers. I haven’t been posting lately, but when I did it was two lines. So, I decided to clear out my blog page and start over. So first, I’ll tell you a little about myself. First of all, my name is Pixel Angelina Gilmour and I am ten years old. I am from San Diego, California, and my favorite animals are bats and elephants. My mom and dad are homeschooling me while we are in Australia, because we arrived in the middle of fifth grade. Just because my parents home school me, doesn’t mean I don’t take other classes.

Every Monday I go to Circus School, where I practice my acrobatics on the trampoline, the mat, on the trapeze, and on the unicycle. I also practice juggling, tightrope, and climbing. All of the students are put in groups of eight, and are assigned different activities. ( See post two for details of my classes. ) Another class I do is horseback riding. The horse I ride is a beautiful chestnut called Meliqua. I do horseback every Saturday. I am learning to Canter!
